Here is the latest claim guidance for disrupted journeys
Cab reimbursement
If you’re forced to use a cab to travel between a tube terminus and Hadley Wood because of service disruption on Great Northern, HWRUG has negotiated special discretionary arrangements with GTR for fare reimbursement owing to Hadley Wood’s public transport isolation.
Send receipts and details (including information about any appointments missed as a result) directly to GTR’s James Ward either by email or post:
[email protected]
or James Ward – HQ Customer Relations, Govia Thameslink Railway Limited, 2nd Floor, Monument Place, 24 Monument Street, London EC3R 8AJ.
If reimbursement is authorised, you can opt for either vouchers or cheque. You could also claim under the standard DelayRepay scheme if you hold a GTR ticket for the disrupted journey.
For further guidance, see Conditions 32.1 and 32.2 of National Rail Conditions of Travel.
